Another new guy

Hello, hello. Another new guy here. Have done lots of reading, and implemented about the average as far as SEO tools. From my limited experience (very limited) so far I have found the obvious, content is king.

If you write ten ok posts with balls to the wall SEO tactics you will do ok. But, write one or two awesome posts with practically no SEO the article will move without you having to do anything.

My point, instead of spending a couple hours a day researching SEO and back linking techniques spend that time writing really good stuff. Personally, I've spent most my time syndicating what I think are important posts for my niche to build archive content and have written maybe only 20% original material, but it's that material that gets the traffic. Whoa, just looked up and realized that little speech was about 2 paragraphs too long. lol ....Sorry

I don't know whether you improved the site since asking for reviews a while ago but I only just looked it and it's good. Lots of information for baseball fans, attractive style, lots of good graphics and easy to navigate. But what do I know about baseball being English?

As for your content vs. backlinks - it's a hard fact but you gotta do both to get an audience.
