We have just started the web directory - http://www.bestonlinedir.com (Page Rank 1) which has both free and featured listing options.

The site http://www.bestonlinedir.com has 17 categories and 482 sub-categories.
I will be upgrading a few selected sites to "Featured" listing. All featured listings are listed on the main category pages with a website thumbnail. Hurry.. this is a limited time period offer. Please feel free to submit your websites to our directory.



TIP: Make sure to chose the right category and sub-category for your listing. This is one of the major reason's of websites getting rejected during submission.

I would think that Google wouldn't much like directories that exist exclusively for SEO purposes so that a directory with more of a vertical focus would do better.

In short, I would think that a directory needs to add value to be useful these days but if you are still creating them, you must think differently.

It looks good. Where's the primary creation of value?
