Default Yahoo - the lazy spider ?

Does anyone know off a software package that allows you to see what a search engine spider will see IE: googlebot

Sounds pretty dumb I know.....

but any ideas would be greatly apprieciated

Use the spider simulator on this site. It strips away the code and shows you what the engine will see and in what order. That can be very helpful. Spider Simulator
